1968 ford mustang GT Rental Added in Louisiana

Rent Muscle Cars has added a 1968 Ford Mustang GT to its listings through the USA Movie Cars network. The vehicle sits in Lake Charles, Louisiana, giving crews working in the state a local option for period-correct picture cars. Productions filming across Louisiana now have another choice when they need a classic Mustang that carries strong visual presence on camera.

Spotlight on this 1968 ford mustang GT

This 1968 Ford Mustang GT carries a purple exterior with white racing stripes and a black interior. The two-door coupe body style keeps the classic Mustang silhouette that audiences recognize immediately. A manual transmission and gasoline powertrain match the mechanical layout common to the model year. Producers can place the car in scenes where the color and stripes help it stand out against other background vehicles or blend with late-1960s street traffic.

The car’s appearance supports quick identification in wide shots and tighter framing alike. Location managers working in southwest Louisiana can keep the vehicle close to Lake Charles sets instead of arranging long-distance transport. Picture car coordinators gain a straightforward option when a script calls for a distinctive Mustang that reads as original to the era.

Rent Muscle Cars and the Louisiana Picture Car Market

Rent Muscle Cars focuses on muscle car rentals for film and television work while drawing from the broader USA Movie Cars network. The network connects with state-level sites such as Louisiana Picture Cars so productions can search locally first. When a project needs vehicles in Louisiana, this structure reduces travel time and simplifies insurance and transport coordination.

Lake Charles sits in a region that sees steady commercial and independent film activity. Crews scouting south Louisiana often look for cars that match the 1960s visual language without leaving the state. USA Movie Cars helps bridge those local searches with national listings, letting coordinators in Lake Charles or Baton Rouge pull vehicles from nearby owners rather than distant markets.

History of the 1968 ford mustang GT

The Ford Mustang launched in 1964 and quickly became one of the defining American cars of the decade. By 1968 the model had settled into its first-generation form with refined styling and expanded engine choices. The GT package added sportier trim and performance cues that still read clearly on screen today.

Coupe versions offered a compact footprint that worked well in both urban and rural settings. The manual transmission cars of that year gave drivers direct control, a detail that can matter in scenes requiring gear shifts or engine sound cues. The Mustang’s overall proportions and available colors made it a frequent choice for filmmakers looking to place an instantly recognizable vehicle in period settings.

Louisiana Picture Car Rental Uses

Producers can use this Mustang in scenes set during the late 1960s or early 1970s. The purple finish and white stripes create a strong visual hook for character vehicles or background traffic. Establishing shots of streets or parking areas gain period texture when the car sits among other era-appropriate vehicles.

Commercial shoots and music videos benefit from the car’s bold color scheme. Still photographers can position it for automotive or lifestyle work where a classic Mustang adds interest. Event productions and branded content shoots in Louisiana often need one or two standout cars to anchor displays or photo opportunities. The two-door layout also makes it practical for talent to enter and exit on camera.
