1967 ford mustang coupe Rental Added in New Mexico
Rent Muscle Cars has added this 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe to its picture car offerings through the USA Movie Cars network. The vehicle sits in Edgewood, New Mexico, giving crews working across the state a ready option for productions that need a classic coupe from the 1960s. New Mexico picture car rental requests often focus on period-correct vehicles that can handle both Albuquerque metro shoots and wider travel, and this listing fits that need.
Spotlight on this 1967 ford mustang coupe
The coupe carries a yellow exterior paired with a black interior. It features an automatic transmission and a 351W engine. Producers can see how the clean lines of the body style and the two-tone color scheme read on camera when the vehicle appears in establishing shots or mid-ground action.
Family ownership since 1972 and a restoration completed five years ago keep the car in shape for repeated use on set. The combination of vintage styling and automatic convenience makes it practical for longer production days in New Mexico without sacrificing the look crews expect from a 1960s Mustang.
Rent Muscle Cars and the New Mexico Picture Car Market
Rent Muscle Cars focuses on muscle and performance vehicles that match the needs of film, commercial, and content work. By listing this Mustang through USA Movie Cars, the site connects local inventory in Edgewood with productions searching statewide. USA Movie Cars works with state picture-car sites such as New Mexico Picture Cars to help productions find local picture vehicles instead of arranging long-distance transport.
Edgewood sits within reach of Albuquerque, which expands the practical coverage area for crews filming in central New Mexico. When a production needs a Mustang that can travel 250 miles or more, the network setup lets coordinators check availability across connected sites without starting from scratch in each market.
History of the 1967 ford mustang coupe
The 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe arrived during the second full year of Mustang production. The model kept the sporty compact proportions that defined the line while adding subtle updates to the front and rear styling. Coupes offered a practical two-door layout that worked for both personal use and later screen roles set in the late 1960s.
Many examples from this year have moved through private hands for decades. The family ownership noted since 1972 places this particular car in continuous use well after its original model year, a common path for Mustangs that remain in regional collections. The later restoration preserved the era appearance while updating mechanical components for current reliability.
New Mexico Picture Car Rental Uses
Productions set in the 1960s can place the yellow coupe in street scenes, driveway shots, or as a character vehicle that reflects the period. Its automatic transmission and restored condition support repeated takes without the mechanical interruptions that sometimes occur with unrestored classics.
Commercial and still photography shoots benefit from the distinct color combination when the vehicle serves as background texture or a branded prop. Music videos and event productions in New Mexico can use the Mustang for quick visual interest without requiring extensive set dressing. The 250-mile travel radius listed for the vehicle allows it to reach locations beyond the immediate Albuquerque area when schedules call for it.
